AML, KYC & Fraud Prevention Policy
Effective August 7, 2026
Holy LLC operates Kaleidicloud (including the Brick Box Studio: Kingdom Connection and Goldensounds) as a marketplace and crowdsourcing platform where members send and receive money. This policy explains the controls we apply to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud, and how we help members become compliant. It supplements the Terms of Use and Payments & Refunds Policy.
1. Identity verification (KYC) and business verification (KYB)
- Identity verification is handled by Stripe Identity. We do not store your government ID images.
- Verification is required before you may launch a funding campaign, receive payouts, or move $500 or more in a single transaction.
- Businesses and organizations (purple identities) must additionally supply legal entity details — legal name, formation state, and EIN — before receiving payouts.
- Start or check your verification any time at Me → Compliance.
2. Guided compliance
We recognize many members are forming their first business. The Compliance Checklist at Me → Compliance walks you step by step through obtaining an EIN, forming an entity, registering with the State of Missouri (or your own state), sales-tax registration, opening a business bank account, and connecting payouts. An AI Compliance Coach answers questions using Kaleidicloud's own AI keys. The IRS never charges for an EIN — Kaleidicloud will never ask you to pay a third party for one.
3. Escrow and holds
- Funds for bookings, blocs, pledges, and milestones are held in escrow and released on delivery, milestone acceptance, or expiry of the review window (currently 72 hours) — whichever the parties agreed to.
- Funds flagged by our automated screen enter review status and are not released until a human review clears them.
4. Automated transaction monitoring
Every payment is screened in real time for, among other patterns:
- Self-funding — the payer and payee are the same person or entity.
- Velocity — an unusual number of payments in a short window.
- Structuring / smurfing — many small payments to one campaign.
- Unusually large transactions relative to platform baselines.
- Unverified recipients receiving above the verification threshold.
Flagged activity creates a risk event and, at sufficient severity, a compliance case. High-risk payments are paused or blocked outright. We may request additional information, freeze escrow, suspend payouts, or permanently ban an account.
5. Funding model and securities
Kaleidicloud currently supports rewards-based and donation-based funding only. We do not offer, sell, or facilitate the sale of securities. Equity or revenue-share offerings, where introduced, will be gated behind a registered funding portal or exempt intermediary and additional verification. Nothing on Kaleidicloud is investment, legal, or tax advice.
6. Prohibited activity
- Using Kaleidicloud to launder proceeds of crime or finance terrorism.
- Sanctioned parties or persons in comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions.
- Fake campaigns, misrepresenting who receives funds, or paying yourself through the platform to fabricate traction.
- Circumventing fees or contracts by moving agreed work off-platform.
7. Records, reporting, and cooperation
We retain transaction, verification status, and risk records for at least five years. We cooperate with lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement and may file reports as required without notice to you where the law forbids notice.
8. Questions and appeals
If a payment or payout of yours was paused, open Me → Compliance or contact us at kaleidicloud@gmail.com. Include the transaction reference so we can review quickly.
